Support for health, wellbeing, education and charity organisations
You do work that matters with fewer people and less money than the job deserves. We help mission led organisations get their systems, income and reporting in order so the mission stays the main event.
Who this is for
You lead a clinic, a therapy practice, a university spin out, a charity or a community interest company. Your team cares deeply and does more than its hours allow. Funders, regulators and clients all want evidence, and you want to spend your time on the people you serve.
Explore Health, wellbeing, education and charities
- Health and wellbeingClinics, therapists, coaches and practices: bookings, client records, marketing that feels honest, and a practice that does not depend on one pair of hands.
- Education and research spin outsSpin outs and education businesses turning research into a company: the commercial case, funding routes, the founding team and the systems behind them.
- Charities and social enterpriseCharities, CICs and social enterprises with a big mission and a small team: funder reporting, more than one income stream, and systems that cope.
What stretches mission led organisations thin
Funders each want a different report
Every grant brings its own template, dates and measures. Collecting the same figures four ways eats days that should go to the people you serve.
One income stream, held together by hope
A single contract, grant or referral source pays most of the bills. If it changes, the whole organisation feels it, and there is little time to build alternatives.
Sensitive data, ordinary tools
Health notes, safeguarding details and participant records often sit in shared spreadsheets and personal email. The duty of care is high and the protection is thin.
Passion that outruns the structure
Roles are fuzzy, trustees or advisers have limited time and decisions wait for one person. It works until the day that person is away.
Help that respects a tight budget and a big mission
Scope &
Strategy
We listen to how the organisation really works, where staff time goes and what funders and partners ask for. Then we agree a short plan of what to change first and what can wait.
About Scope & StrategySystems &
Solutions
We build systems around your real workflow: one place for records, simple reporting that serves several funders at once, and reminders for the dull but vital tasks, with the team shown how to use them.
About Systems & SolutionsSecurity &
Support
We take care of the sensitive side: who can see what, safe storage, tested backups and a clear approach to data protection, kept up to date as the team, funding and services change.
About Security & SupportQuestions people ask
Can a small charity get commercial business support?
Yes. The commercial questions, such as who pays, what it costs to deliver and where the time goes, apply to any organisation. We work in plain language and keep things proportionate to your size. Check your governing document and take advice on anything that touches charity rules.
How can I cut reporting time for funders?
Collect the information once, in a consistent form, and let it feed each funder's format. That needs agreed definitions and a single record of activity. It will not remove reporting, but it can shrink the repeat work. We can help design that setup.
How do I protect sensitive client or participant data?
Limit who can see it, keep it in one controlled place instead of email and personal devices, and make sure backups work. Special category data such as health details needs particular care under UK GDPR. We can review your setup. This is not legal advice.
How do I get started with NYAS?
Book a call. We will ask about your mission, your team, your funders and what feels heaviest right now. We will tell you plainly if we can help and what we would look at first. Nothing is expected from you beforehand.
