Women Riders World Relay runs riding challenges for a global community. Every entry that comes in has to be checked against the challenge rules before it counts. Done by hand, that was a wall of repetitive judgement that never stopped.
Each entry had to be opened, read and checked against the rules, one at a time. With entries arriving every day, it was up to four hours of assessment daily, seven days a week. It did not scale, it wore the team down, and when a week got busy, consistency was the first thing to slip.
We built a Challenge Assessor from scratch, shaped around exactly how the challenge is judged. It reads each entry, checks it against the criteria, approves the clear ones and flags anything borderline for a person to decide. Every decision is logged. The team went from grinding through every single entry to reviewing a short list of the ones that genuinely need a human eye.
This was not an off-the-shelf tool that WRWR had to bend around. It was built from scratch around the real rules and the real workflow, kept under human oversight, with the data staying private. The result does the grind. A person still makes every call that matters.
